Another Athletic Nation franchise group completes training...
franchise training- 4 guys

New franchise owners now ready to get their gyms open

San Jose, Calif.- July 27, 2007 - After a full week at the Athletic Nation -Men's Personal Training Gym facility in San Jose, four of its newest franchise owners are off to get their respective gyms open.

Dr. Kurt Ehlert, Manny DeGuzman, Rob Fenwick and Vivek" Roy" Ganju all completed their mandatory Athletic Nation business and personal training certification program. After an exhaustive week of of both mental and physical conditioning the group made the following comments:

Dr. Kurt Ehlert-Orthopedic Surgeon-Area Developer franchisee Raleigh, North Carolina:
Spending a week at HQ was valuable for several reasons; First, I had the chance to embrace the ideals and mission of Athletic Nation. Second, I got to learn how to get our message out to men who will REALLY benefit from working out at our gyms. Finally, I got to meet and get to know a great group of guys -new franchisees like Vivek, Rob and Manny "The Manster".

Manny DeGuzman- ex- Police Officer-franchisee San Ramon, CA:
During my one-week training I attended at Athletic Nation's HQ I was introduced to many concepts. The lessons and materials were presented in such a clear, concise and easily understandable format that even someone with my limited knowledge of owning a franchise was able to learn everything presented to us.

Rob Fenwick- Real Estate Investor- franchisee Ft. Lauderdale, FL:
Learning the business with the staff at Athletic Nation was great education, camaraderie and hard training. The support and efficiency that Athletic Nation provides gives us a great business model and you leave confident that you'll be able to get your business up and running quickly.

Vivek "Roy" Ganju- Laser Engineer-franchisee San Jose, CA:
Most people don't know how far to push their body when they are trying to change it. An Athletic Nation personal trainer holds you accountable to get you to the next level for changes in your physique. The workout CANNOT be duplicated alone. From a business perspective, no other gym offers this kind of intense, motivating and effective workout...and does not involve itself in the latest fads & quick fixes.

Integrated Training Program
The Athletic Nation training program which runs from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and covers a diverse area of subjects including marketing & advertising, site selection and gym construction, Intranet software, client/ prospect sales training, hiring & staffing, general business operating procedures and of course how to train clients the Athletic Nation way...yes they were sore by the end of the week.

Added Training "Bonus"
The group added an unusual element to their training on Wednesday afternoon by getting to throw the Javelin (yes, the eight foot spear) with Athletic Nation founder Dennis Mulgannon who is an avid thrower.

Other than a few wildly thrown spears going completely vertical and landing a few feet from the runway the new franchisees actually threw well and a friendly competition ensued with Rob Fenwick winning with the longest throw of the day at about 125 feet (not too bad for a first time thrower).
